The ever evolving retail landscape demands a different kind of advisor.
The lines between the traditional disciplines of real estate advice are blurring.
Four & Co offers its clients a fully integrated, seamless advice service from its founding partners, which draws on their 80+ years’ collective experience of delivering sustainable solutions for clients.
Our team has since expanded to 7 members as our client list and ongoing work-load has increased.
Adam specialises in Lease Advisory work for both investors and occupiers on retail and restaurant properties throughout the UK on high streets, shopping centres / leisure parks and out of town. This work includes lease renewals, rent reviews, regears and expert witness work acting for all sorts of businesses large and small.
He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005 and has worked in the retail and leisure sector at Colliers International, JLL and GCW in the West End since 2006. Whilst Adam is a specialist in Lease Advisory work, he looks at his landlord and tenant work through an agency lens and believes that the roles of the agent and the traditional ‘rent review surveyor’ have merged.
He therefore works very closely with both Callum and Gareth looking at Asset Management strategies for both occupiers and investors as well as providing support to James on investment purchases and sales by providing occupational and tactical advice prior to buying / selling an asset.
Callum is passionate about the high street and delights in helping investor and occupier clients achieve success, using his wealth of experience in property transactions within town centres.
Having commenced working in the sector post University in 2003, Callum brings a proactive approach, utilising key data to source opportunities, forensically understand the dynamics of any specific market, create competitive tension on lettings and help clients make more informed decisions.
Callum works closely with the team on re-gears, investment transactions, occupier acquisitions and landlord leasing to deliver top level advice to clients involving retail, restaurants, bars and gym properties.
James has been advising investors for nearly 2 decades . His formal training started with 8 years at Colliers International before joining GCW in 2012. James focuses on the acquisition and disposal of investment assets across all town centre uses including high street shops, shopping centres, supermarkets. In recent years James has also become a market leading expert on alternative long income assets such as gyms, nurseries & drive thru's for institutions and property companies.
James is a trusted advisor to several large institutional clients and property companies, as well as a broad range of private investors. His advice centres on a deep understanding of the occupational elements, and James therefore works closely with his occupational colleagues to provide forward thinking advice to his clients based on sustainable returns. He has a reputation for identifying mis-pricing in the market and uncovering areas of overlooked potential.
Gareth has over 20 years experience in the property market. He provides strategic property advice to retailers and landlords. This can include, property strategy, acquisition and disposal advice, asset enhancement, strategic investment advice. He believes in working closely with clients to gain a true understanding of their business to ensure the advice provided is specific to their needs.
Once an industrial agent Gareth converted to retail in late 2000. He can often be found leaving the house early in the morning on town inspections. He has an extensive knowledge of towns and markets. He works closely with Adam, Callum and James on advising clients and sharing his experience and town knowledge.
